How an Old Town building became Bandon’s favorite place to gather.
Bandon Brewing Company opened in 2017 at 395 Second Street SE, right where Old Town begins. From the start the idea has been simple: good beer, good food and good company.
The building was bought in 2015 with plans for a vision clinic. The pizza shop already inside came with it, and locals and visitors kept lining up for a slice. So the oven stayed hot, the taps went in and a community hub grew around it.
The first Bandon Brewing recipes were created with brewmaster James Petti. Today, house beers like One Eyed Jack IPA and Old Town Lager share the taps with guest beers from friends along the Oregon Coast and a local cranberry cider.

Every pizza starts with dough that proofs for a day, then gets hand-tossed, topped and baked in a wood-fired oven. The kitchen preps its own sauces too. It’s the kind of food you can eat at a picnic table with a pint or box up for the beach.
Good food. Good local beer. Good company. The plan since 2017
Sidewalk tables under red umbrellas, music drifting out the open doors, a guest book anyone can sign: the room has a way of filling with people who intended to stay for one beer. Families come for pizza. Brewers swap notes at the bar. Travelers on Highway 101 stop in and stay for the sunset.
Bandon Brewing is also a friend to other Oregon brewers. The Sandy Beaches Hefeweizen is a collaboration with Two Shy Brewing in Reedsport, and we love pouring beer from other coastal makers.
